We know how important your privacy is and we (Perkz Ltd) will do everything we can to protect your personal information. Our business model is simple - we are paid by your employer and we do not make money by trading in your personal information. If you do have any concerns though, please call our Helpdesk.
Because your employer pays us to operate Perkz Staff Benefits for you, they’ll want to know how the site is performing. However, we won’t share any of your shopping habits so where you shop, how much you’ve spent and how much you’ve saved as an individual is kept confidential.
We sometimes need to share some of your details with a third party (e.g. arranging a product to be sent to you). But we never give or sell that data to anyone else. We remain the owner and controller of it at all times
We always follow the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998, so if we have evidence or reason to suspect that purchases on your account could be fraudulent then we may be required to share your information as part of a legal or official investigation. As long as you’re using this website within our Terms & Conditions, and not breaking the law, you don’t need to worry about this!
To validate that you are eligible for access to this service we’ll need to collect and store some personal information about you, such as your name, payroll number, email address, postal address, contact telephone number, gender and date of birth.
We never store your debit or credit card details as they are sent directly to our payment processor. For the purpose of withdrawals to you bank account, we will store your bank details until the withdrawal is processed, after which all the details will be destroyed.
To ensure we provide you with a secure environment we will store your IP address. Although an IP address can identify a specific device on the internet, it cannot identify you, so please don’t worry.
